Rachel completed her undergraduate studies at Mars Hill College in Mars Hill, NC, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Armstrong State University in Savannah, GA.

Rachel Barcio is Mckenzie Certified, which is a unique and patient empowering way to treat spinal disorders, dysfunctions, and pain. She has treated a wide variety of patients from the military and veterans to worker’s injured on the job, athletes, and the elderly. She has worked with the most acute of injuries to the longtime chronic and progressive disorders. She has a high interest in pain science and education; as well as, just getting clients moving with specific exercise programs designed and tailored to each individual. She is also able to perform dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping, and kinesiotaping.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys being active and outside. She loves to hike, kayak, stand up paddleboard, play tennis, and lift weights. She is always ready for an adventure and loves traveling to new places, experiencing the world’s rich cultures.
