Zach is originally from Long Island, New York. He was a former division I swimmer at the University of Connecticut, where he suffered a number of shoulder injuries. This peaked his interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy.

Following college, Zach went on to receive his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Since then, he has worked with a wide variety of orthopedic patients of all ages. He has a passion for treating athletes and enjoys the challenge of getting them back to playing the sport they love.

In his free time he enjoys snowboarding, camping and hiking with his wife.
